These appetizing Greek olive oil cookies with orange juice and cinnamon (Ladokoulouro Portokali) are enriched with the finest olive oil and sweetened with citrus, raisins, cinnamon, and cloves for a delicious treat. Handmade with love to a traditional recipe by the Tsatsaronaki Family, these Cretan “manna” wheat flour rusks are twice-baked in a wood-burning oven and immediately packaged for perfect freshness and crunch.

In Greece, it is a time-honored tradition to eat these simple, but aromatic cookies during the Lent period as they contain no animal fats. The natural sweetness of sun-ripened orange juice makes them an ideal breakfast or snack, best enjoyed the Hellenic way with tea, coffee, or a glass of milk.
